Travis Schwertfeger has over 15 years of industry experience with positions in production and exploration geology, business development and project valuation. Mr Schwertfeger gained significant global experience with Newmont Mining Corporation at projects located throughout the Americas, West Africa and Australia, and most recently was VP of Exploration-US for Golden Predator Corporation prior to starting with IGS in 2010. He has practical experience in mineral deposits related to mesothermal lode gold, epithermal, porphyry-style, and Fe-oxide-Cu-Au systems. Mr Schwertfeger graduated from Colorado School of Mines in 1998 with a B.Sc. in Engineering Geology, and received his MSc in Ore Deposit Geology and Evaluation from The University of Western Australia in 2011.
Pip Leverington – Company Secretary
Pip Leverington has over 6 years experience in the legal profession, primarily in the areas of equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, corporate governance and mining and resources. She was a lawyer at a corporate law firm for a number of years before joining the Company and has a Bachelor of Laws degree.
Ross McConnochie BA (Hons), AusIMM – Exploration Manager, West Africa
Ross McConnochie has over 25 years of gold industry experience with roles in both mine geology and mineral exploration with experience ranging from managing in-mine exploration and resource definition drilling to conducting integrated exploration programs in a variety of terrains. He has considerable practical experience in the planning and implementation of early prospect-scale geochemical sampling programs, and in the assessment of the resultant targets. Mr McConnochie has an honours degree in geology from Victoria University of Wellington and is a long standing Member of the AusIMM.
